Knowledge management capability and technology uncertainty: driving factors of dual innovation

ABSTRACT

Based on synergy theory and dynamic capability theory, taking the high-tech enterprises in the Yangtze River delta region as samples, this paper explores the relationship between knowledge management ability and the synergy of dual innovation from three dimensions of knowledge acquisition ability, knowledge integration ability and knowledge creation ability, as well as the moderating effect of technology uncertainty on the above relationship. The results show that the knowledge acquisition ability is positively correlated with the balance of dual innovation and has an inverted U-shaped relationship with the complementarity of dual innovation. The ability of knowledge integration is positively correlated with the balance and complementarity of innovation. Knowledge creation ability is positively correlated with the balance and complementarity of innovation. Technology uncertainty has a positive moderating effect between knowledge management ability and dual innovation balance and complementarity.
