Abstract

Synthetic approaches to pentafluoro-λ6-sulfanylated pyridines, including meta- (m-) and para- (p-) pentafluoro-λ6-sulfanyl-substituted pyridines and ortho- (o-)-pentafluoro-λ6-sulfanyl-substituted pyridines containing strong electron-withdrawing substituents, are summarized in this review.
