Ethical approval
Patients’ specimens were collected in diagnostic units for haematological malignancies in the context of routine diagnostics and only surplus material was analyzed for the study. Informed consent was obtained from the patient in accordance to local laws approved by the local ethic committees for collecting and archiving their surplus material for further experimental studies in the participating institutes. The study has been performed in accordance with the Helsinki declaration of 1975, as revised in 2000.
