Lyell Davies

Lyell Davies is an associate professor of English at the City University of New York. His scholarship focuses on documentary film and social change, public interest media and media activism, and cinematic representations of postcolonial and diasporic subjectivities. A documentarian, his works have aired on US public television and been exhibited at film festivals internationally. He holds a Ph.D. in visual and cultural studies from the University of Rochester.
