Correction to Winston (1996) regarding R. T. Osborne

ABSTRACT

This note corrects an error in Winston (1996) regarding the testimony of R. T. Osborne at the 1963 Stell vs. Savannah-Chatham County Board of Education lawsuit. Context for the correct version of Osborne's testimony is provided by his other publications and his work with psychologist Henry Garrett in their efforts to overturn the 1954 Brown decision.
