Vikram Tamboli holds a Ph.D. in History from the University of Wisconsin–Madison. In 2019 he was a Stipendiary Fellow at the Institute of Latin American Studies, School of Advanced Studies, University of London, a Thomas W. Wilkins Fellow at the Huntington Library in Pasadena, California, and a lecturer in the Department of History at the University of California, Los Angeles.
