ABSTRACT
Violence and abuse has become a common phenomenon in early childhood education. It is also difficult to erase from the classroom activities and it may have long-lasting effects on children. In this article, the author sees the significant relationship between bullying and emotional abuse among the children in schools. And also violence and abuse is studied from the perspective of the victims. Primary schools which have experienced violence and abuse have been purposively selected. Sixteen children who are the victim of violence and abuse were selected. The school children’s different experiences and challenges were discussed. The study directly focuses on the children’s strategies to reduce violence in schools. The author surprised to receive a wealth of information from the primary school children which will be recommended to the policy makers to make it as a policy to reduce violence and abuse in schools.
