ABSTRACT
The cyclic performance of beam-only-connected Corrugated Steel Plate Shear Walls (CSPSWs) is studied experimentally and numerically. Two one-story single-bay specimens with single and double corrugated infill plates were built and tested under lateral cyclic load. The results demonstrated that CSPSWs could have a robust hysteresis curve with viable cyclic performance if designed properly. Finite Element (FE) models were developed and verified against test specimens. A parametric study was conducted using FE models to evaluate the effects of variations in the thickness, aspect ratio, and sub-panel width of the infill plate of beam-only-connected CSPSWs on their cyclic performance.
