Jon Wagner
Jon Wagner is Professor Emeritus in Education at the University of California, Davis. His current interests include Alzheimer's and dementia care; the visual commons of residential landscapes; and visual imagery and public education. He is the author of Misfits and Missionaries: a School for Black Dropouts (1977) and editor of Images of Information: Still Photography in the Social Sciences (1979) and Visual Sociology 14 (1 & 2): Seeing Kids' Worlds (1999). A past President of the International Visual Sociology Association, he also served as the founding Image Editor of Contexts magazine (American Sociological Association, 2001–2004).
