Nick Barwick

Nick Barwick is a qualified teacher, UKCP registered group analyst and individual psychodynamic practitioner. He has run groups in the NHS, Higher Education and Private Practice and is Head of Counselling at the Guildhall School of Music & Drama where he also lectures on the MA in Music Therapy and supervises PhD students. He has published numerous articles and several books, most recently Group Music Therapy (Routledge 2015) co-written with Alison Davies and Eleanor Richards and Group Therapy: a group-analytic approach (Routledge 2018), co-written with clinical psychologist and group analyst Martin Weegmann. A past editor of Psychodynamic Practice, Nick is also a gigging musician.
