ABSTRACT
An essay, part retrospective part prospectus, focusing on a production of an experimental stage drama using and innovating techniques of dramaturgical improvisation conflating drama and music. The essay uses extracts from the play to analyse and demonstrate the techniques discussed. Reviews of the play and its adaptation into prose, and reminiscences from participants also help contextualise the production.
