ABSTRACT

Identifying and selecting the appropriate managers suitable to be successful within the club industry can be challenging. An ideal employee would be someone who has the characteristics and values to fit within the culture of the industry. This study established a scale to measure organizational club culture. It specifically identifies the individual and organizational characteristics of club managers. By establishing a list of common characteristics and values, club managers have tangible factors to incorporate within recruitment, selection, training of new employees, or even describing their club to potential new members.
