ABSTRACT

The Cleveland Clinic Libraries wanted to evaluate what services are used by residents and fellows and their attitudes regarding library services. All exiting residents and fellows completed a voluntary survey regarding their usage of library services. The survey measured demographics of the respondents, their usage of library space, interlibrary loan services, training opportunities, and a wish list of services for future consideration. Over a three-year period (2017–2019), 823 of 1305 residents and fellows responded. The results showed interlibrary loan as the most used service, library space for study was second, and library staff assistance was third. The library study also shed light on the activity of residents and fellows who did not have a library account, but used library services.
