Abstract
Carbon composites have been synthesized by a simple two-stage method that includes impregnation of a cellulose matrix with a copper salt and its pyrolysis. The effects of ammonium stearate, temperature and pyrolysis conditions on the composites morphology have been studied. The approach represented in this work is a simple method of targeted regulation and control of the morphology, specific surface area and porosity of a carbon composite.
