Abstract

In this paper, the author tested the influence of the addition of 1200 g of steel fibers per every beam improve the mechanical characteristics of concrete. The idea to make a better concrete mix by adding steel fibers was realized through this paper’s project task. The author's aim is to prove the fact that steel fibers increase the compressive strength and tensile strength of concrete's by adding 1200 g of steel fibers per every beam. The combination of different concrete mixture materials offers more creative solutions in obtaining the required concrete characteristics in the modern construction. The paper deals with the experimental tests of the behavior of reinforced concrete beams reinforced by adding 1200 g of steel fibers of per beam loaded after a standard time (28 days after the day of their making).
