Abstract

This essay discusses my personal experience with sexual harassment perpetrated by a student. Also, discussed are the professional and personal consequences attached to sexual harassment experiences where the victim has more formal power than the abuser.

Bridgett A. King

Bridgett A. King is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Political Science and Master of Public Administration Program at Auburn University. Dr. King teaches graduate and undergraduate courses in state and local government, American government, political participation, and public policy. She is also an instructor in the Election Center Certified Elections/Registration Administrator (CERA) Program. Her research focuses on political participation and election administration, and with an emphasis on disenfranchised and marginalized populations.
