Erin E. Richards
Erin E. Richards is a Senior II Tenured faculty member at Cascadia College which is part of the Washington State Community and Technical College system. Her interests include American Government institutions and voting behavior, State and Local Government, and Women in Politics as well as issues around citizenship and political science education and pedagogy. She has published on teaching at community colleges and worked on a multi-year multi-campus project examining the relationship between learning in American Government courses and interest in politics and civic engagement among students. She was involved in the creation and implementation of curriculum for the Bachelors of Applied Science in Sustainable Practices degree at Cascadia College, and involved in a campus task force addressing the implementation of guided pathways at her institution in Washington State.
