Bettina Fabos

Bettina Fabos is a Professor of Visual Communication and Interactive Digital Studies at the University of Northern Iowa, whose work revolves around digital culture, digital visualization, digital photo archiving, and the communication of historical narrative and public memory. She has published broadly in such journals as Library Trends, Review of Educational Research, and Visual Communication Quarterly, and co-founded Fortepan Iowa (fortepan.us) in 2014, a digital archive of amateur photographs on 20th-century Iowa life based on the Hungarian Fortepan (fortepan.hu). Leslie M. Waters

Leslie M. Waters is Assistant Professor of History at the University of Texas at El Paso, whose work explores the social and political history of Central and Eastern Europe. She researches the history of border conflicts, forced migrations, and identity politics and has published articles in Contemporary European History and Hungarian Historical Review. Kristina E. Poznan

Kristina E. Poznan is a Visiting Assistant Professor of History at La Salle University, whose research examines migration from the lands of the Habsburg Empire to the United States from the 1880s to the 1930s and the role of transatlantic migration in accelerating Eastern European separatist nationalisms. Her articles have appeared in the Hungarian Historical Review and the Pennsylvania Magazine of History & Biography, and her research has been supported by the American Council of Learned Societies, Fulbright, and the Wilson Center, among others. Dana Potter is a highly-acclaimed printmaker, graphic designer, and digital artist completing a printmaking MFA at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. Potter's work has been in both national and international exhibitions including the “2017 3rd Global Print,” Douro, Portugal; “2017 Beyond Printmaking 5,” Texas Tech University, Lubbock, Texas; and “Stand Out Prints 2016.” Her artistic interest cultivates in the exponential integration of technology into mundane, daily life.
