Stine Simonsen Puri

Stine Simonsen Puri, PhD, is a cultural anthropologist and South Asian studies scholar, working as a Teaching Associate Professor at the Department of Cross-Cultural and Regional Studies, Copenhagen University. Her research on horse race and rain gambling as well as agromarket speculation has served as an entry into the study of moral economies and interconnections between legal, illegal, and extra-legal forms of exchange in contemporary India.
