Mengqi Wang is a cultural anthropologist based at Duke Kunshan University. She obtained a doctoral degree in Cultural Anthropology from Brandeis University with primary research interests in economic anthropology, housing, urban studies, and China. Her main research project is an ethnographic study of the low-end real estate market at the urban fringe of Eastern Nanjing.
