Jennifer Lynn Jones
Jennifer Lynn Jones is a Visiting Assistant Professor in the Department of Film Studies at the University of Tulsa. She completed her Ph.D. in Communication and Culture at Indiana University in 2018. Her dissertation, Huge Stars: Corpulence, Celebrity, and Convergence in Twenty-First Century American Media Culture, examines the celebrity of Kirstie Alley, Retta, and Lena Dunham in light of the millennial ‘obesity crisis.’ Her work with Brenda Weber has appeared in Camera Obscura and The SAGE Handbook of Television Studies.
