Ivana Medić

Ivana Medić is a Senior Research Associate of the Institute of Musicology of the Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts. She obtained her PhD from the University of Manchester in 2010; whilst in the UK (2006-2013) she worked at the University of Manchester (Martin Harris Centre for Music and Drama), and the Open University in the North-West. She is Head of the international project Beyond Quantum Music, co-financed by the Creative Europe program of the European Union. From 2014 to 2017 she was Head of the Belgrade team on the trilateral project City Sonic Ecology - Urban Soundscapes of Bern, Ljubljana and Belgrade, financed by the Swiss National Science Foundation (SNSF). She has published five monographs and over 70 articles and book chapters, and edited four books.
