ABSTRACT
The traditional inverse synthetic aperture radar (ISAR) imaging method, namely, range-Doppler (RD) method, becomes invalid when it comes to the sparse aperture (SA) situation. In this letter, we developed a novel super-resolution SA-ISAR imaging method via the Turbo technique to deal with this problem, which has satisfactory recovery performance and excellent imaging results. To enhance the robustness of the proposed method, we further utilized the expectation maximization (EM) strategy to update the relative model parameters automatically. Experiments on the simulated and real measured data validate the effectiveness of the proposed method.
