Stanzin Lhaskyabs

Stanzin Lhaskyabs is a poet from Ladakh and a research scholar in International Politics and Area Studies from the Centre for International Politics, Organization, Diplomacy and Disarmament (CIPOD), School of International Studies, Jawaharlal Nehru University, India. He has submitted his PhD thesis in January 2023. His research interests are international security, critical security studies, India’s foreign policy, and counterterrorism. He is the author of the first English poetry book from Ladakh – 'Himalayan Melodies' published in 2016. Poems from the book are taught in the University of Delhi, Doon University, and the University of Ladakh. He has also contributed articles in journals like The Wire and The Diplomat.
