Notes on contributors

Ronny Saeed Hasan

Ronny Saeed Hasan belongs to a small minority in Iraq. I graduated from the International Studies programme at AUIS. I have always loved writing and found myself creatively expressing how I felt about each story or condition I encountered. I believe we write when emotions are so true and cannot be expressed in a normal conversation and then forgotten forever. I now live in Iraq, but not in my hometown due to a genocide that my religion faced. For that, most of my poems reflect on the aftermath of the genocide. The trauma and struggles never end even if war ended as a fight.
