ALA Presidential Address (2018)

In praise of my mentors and mentees: mentoring as an institution of African literature

Pages 5-14 | Published online: 25 Apr 2019

Abstract

Mentoring represents an Institution of the African literature association. Consolidating this great tradition begins, for every member, to express gratitude to the mentors of the past and present. Translating this appreciation into action supposes a commitment to guide young generations of scholars who are the future of the association.
