cABSTRACT
Women continue to be underrepresented in leadership roles in counselor education, highlighting a need for leadership development and mentoring initiatives. Drawing on recommendations from the literature, The Women’s Inclusive Mentoring Framework (WIMF) is proposed to address this need. Guided by a relational-cultural approach, the WIMF incorporates quality mentors and mentor-mentee matches, vision and plan development, and focused mentoring interventions. Strengths and limitations of the framework are discussed, along with suggestions for further development.
