ABSTRACT
In the present study removal of sodium dodycl sulphate, an anionic surfactant by using ZnO nanoparticles (ZnO-Nps) are investigated. Further ZnO-Nps were synthesised by using precipitation method in aqueous solution with sulphates of metallic precursors. By using XRD (X-ray diffraction) the crystalline analysis of nanoparticles was observed and by using SEM (scanning electron microscopy) the structure of nanoparticles was observed. For ZnO-Np the SEM size is 180.4 nm. For phase identification and crystalline material XRD was used and to observe chemical properties of ZnO-Np, studied Fourier transmission of infra-red. The maximum percentage removal of ZnO-Np was found to be 97% by varying different conditions by time, dosage, pH, initial concentration and temperature parameters.
