Eduardo E. Estévez

Eduardo E. Estévez is Adjunct Professor at the Instituto Universitario de la Policía Federal Argentina (IUPFA), Buenos Aires, Argentina. As independent consultant/researcher, he specializes in intelligence and security, police reforms, and citizen security. He held key positions in the Ministry of Interior of the Nation, and the Ministry of Security of the Province of Buenos Aires (2000-2015). He authored chapters in various books including, The Conduct of Intelligence in Democracies: Processes, Practices, Cultures (Lynne Rienner, 2019); Democratization of Intelligence (Routledge, 2015); Intelligence Elsewhere: Spies and Espionage outside the Anglosphere (Georgetown University Press, 2013); and, Who’s Watching the spies? Establishing Intelligence Service Accountability (Potomac, 2005). He is a contributor to World Police Encyclopedia (Routledge, 2006) and, Diccionario Inteligencia y Seguridad (LID Editorial, 2013).
