Abstract
This review describes some new approaches of biomolecule immobilization and transduction of biological processes in the field of biosensors based on electrogenerated polymers. These recent advances were classified according to the nature of the conventional immobilization procedure involved, namely adsorption onto electropolymerized films, entrapment during the electropolymerization process, covalent binding on electrogenerated polymers, and anchoring by affinity interactions between biomolecules and polymers.
