Abstract
Recent developments in sample treatment, such as liquid‐ and solid‐phase extraction, coprecipitation, and electrodeposition, are presented. In addition, this review considers the benefits and drawbacks of atomic absorption techniques (F‐AAS, GF‐AAS, CV‐AAS, HG‐AAS, and HR‐CSAAS) used to identify and quantify different elements in a variety of matrices.
