Morris N. Eagle
Morris Eagle, M.D., is Distinguished Faculty Member, New Center for Psychoanalysis (NCP); Professor Emeritus, Derner Institute for Advanced Psychological Studies, Adelphi University; and Professor Emeritus, York University, Toronto, Canada. He is also the Former President of the Division of Psychoanalysis, American Psychological Association; the 2009 Recipient of Sigourney Award; and an Elected Fellow of Royal Society of Canada. In addition to private practice, Dr. Eagle is the author of hundreds of journal articles as well as chapters in several edited books; and the sole author of Core concepts of classical psychoanalytic theory: Clinical and research evidence and conceptual critiques (2018) Routledge; Attachment and psychoanalysis: Theory, research, and clinical implications (2013) Guilford Press; From classical to contemporary psychoanalysis: Critique and integration (2011), Routledge; and Recent developments in psychoanalysis: A critical evaluation (1984), McGraw-Hill.
