Spyros D. Orfanos
Spyros D. Orfanos, Ph.D., ABPP, is Director of the New York University Postdoctoral Program in Psychotherapy and Psychoanalysis. A Fellow of the American Psychological Association, he is past president of the Society of Psychoanalysis and Psychoanalytic Psychology (39) of the American Psychological Association, and the International Association of Relational Psychoanalysis and Psychotherapy (IARPP). He is on the Advisory Board of the Sigmund Freud Museum of Vienna, practices psychoanalysis and psychotherapy, and teaches and publishes internationally. In addition, he has a special interest in human rights advocacy and the creativity of music.
