Abstract
Bi-based ceramics with pyrochlore structure exhibit interesting microwave dielectric properties such as high dielectric constant and low firing temperature. Structure and dielectric properties of non-stoichiometric ceramics Bi 1.5 ZnNb 1.5− x O 7−2.5x (x = −0.344∼0.13) were investigated. Dielectric properties are usually proportional to the polarizability of the constituents. The experimental results show that dielectric constant increase linearly the x value. The dielectric relaxation and defect resulting from non-stiochiometric ceramics Bi 1.5 ZnNb 1.5− x O 7−2.5 x were discussed.
