Abstract
Solid state technique is employed to prepare La doped BNT-BFO perovskite ceramics. The sample has cubic structure and lattice strain = 0.00127 calculated by Williamson–Hall method. The frequency bands corresponding to Bi-O, Ti-O, O-, NaO, LaO and FeO stretching confirm that Fe+2, La+2 ions completely incorporate the Ti+4 ions in the B site of the perovskite. The SEM micrograph shows distinct grains and well defined grain boundaries. The dielectric study reveals grains play dominant role compare to grain boundaries. The Nyquist plots were modeled with designed circuit (CQR)(CR) and confirm that sample has semiconducting nature and supported by Cole–Cole plots.
