Abstract

To fill a gap of previous studies, the present work considers possible effects near electrodes for nanocomposites based on classical ferroelectrics (triglycine sulfate and potassium dihydrogen phosphate) filled with pristine and oxidized multiwalled carbon nanotubes by analyzing the spectra of electric impedance at low frequencies (10−3–106 Hz). FTIR technique was utilized to explore composite structures. The results indicated that using the oxidized carbon nanotubes helped to partially suppress the near-electrode effects due to the poor electrical conductivity of OH groups appeared after oxidization. Besides, the frequency region in which the effects existed was expanded with increasing the filler content.
