ABSTRACT
Two new species of intertidal limnichid beetles, Mexico xiei sp. nov. and Mexico lawrencei sp. nov., are described from the Xisha Islands of China and Christmas Island of Australia, respectively, providing new distributions for these rare and poorly known beetles. The later species represents the first record of Mexico Spilman, Citation1972 in Australia. An updated key to species of Oriental Mexico is provided.
