Abstract
Indium compounds are versatile and efficient materials for catalysis in chemical science, especially in organic synthesis. Amongst indium compounds, indium bromide (InBr3) is widely employed in many chemical reactions. The present review focuses on the developments in the catalytic application of indium bromide (InBr3) for chemical reactions. The review is aimed at researchers, graduate students, and synthetic chemists at all levels in academia and industry, for the utilization of indium bromide (InBr3) as a catalyst in chemical transformations.
