Abstract
The author facilitated this interactional workshop at the Annual Program Meeting of the Council on Social Work Education in 1971. As a member of the Curriculum Committee at Adelphi University’s School of Social Work she discusses the development of Adelphi’s first course in generic/generalist social work practice. The author goes on to present a conceptual scheme for analyzing a practice model and a course to teach it. Her “notes to myself”—her thoughts and reactions to the process in the workshop group—follow.
