A new species and a new record of mite genus Coleopygmephorus (Acari: Neopygmephoridae) associated with bark beetles (Coleoptera: Curculionidae: Scolytinae) from Russia

ABSTRACT

A new species Coleopygmephorus typographus sp. nov., collected on Ips typographus Linnaeus (Coleoptera: Curculionidae: Scolytinae) in Western Siberia, Russia, is described. Coleopygmephorus hylophilus is recorded from Crimea for the first time and redescribed. A key to species of Coleopygmephorus is provided.
