ABSTRACT
The geographic distributions of Hylonycteris underwoodi and Thyroptera tricolor in Honduras have been established with specimens collected more than 50 years ago. Here, we describe the occurrence of these bat species captured in the historic city of Ciudad Blanca, Gracias a Dios in northeastern Honduras.

Las distribuciones geográficas de Hylonycteris underwoodi y Thyroptera tricolor en Honduras se han mantenido con especímenes recolectados hace más de 50 años. Aquí, describimos la ocurrencia de estas especies de murciélagos capturados en la ciudad histórica de Ciudad Blanca, Gracias a Dios en el noreste de Honduras.
