Abstract
This article, delivered in two parts, identifies and examines factors affecting the development of dramatherapy research. Drawing on qualitative research with Dramatherapists in a number of countries, it identifies three related challenges as a way of responding to the question, ‘What is the next developmental phase of dramatherapy research?’ This second article addresses these three challenges: ‘impact’; ‘reviewing dramatherapy's relationship with qualitative and quantitative methodologies’ and ‘in depth: increasing the field's research capacity’. The article ends with ‘An ABC of Dramatherapy Research Culture’ as a suggested basic definition of what a good future research culture for dramatherapy could be.
