^a Sweden is divided into 5984 DeSO. The total number of inhabitants in each DeSO varied between 584 and 7079.

^b Statistics Sweden could not geo-code 7254 individuals aged ≥40 years to a specific DeSO. Those individuals could only be geo-located to a municipality (Sweden consists of 290 municipalities; the first four-digit number of each DeSO-code corresponds to a specific municipality code).

^c Thirteen DeSO had ≤5 inhabitants in any of the given strata of sex and age group. These DeSO are excluded from the summary; they are mainly inhabited by university students and have the following codes: 0180C5900, 0184C1400, 0380C1420, 0380C1460, 0380C1520, 0380C1550, 0580C1460, 0780C1050, 1281C1350, 1281C1440, 1281C1450, 1480C1740 and 2580C1300.
