Introduction to the industrial design-engineers design, terminology, process, and methodology
Course facts	- 15-ECTS project course - 8 weeks from start till hand-in - 120 students - Project in groups of 7–8 students - Oral project group exams
Lectures	- Five hands-on SolidWorks lectures (3D modelling) - Three hands-on drawing lectures (sketching perspective) - Five hands-on workshops (user and context research, experiments, design report, prototyping) - Five design theory lectures (design intro, design process, context research, user research, design boards)
Deliverables and assessment	- The project course delivery includes a written design process (50 pages), a product report (20 pages), and a folder with technical drawings. - The assessment happens through an oral project group examination based on the reports but with individual grading. The examination typically involves an oral presentation with slides followed by questioning and discussion.
