Sources: We calculated the numbers collected from the budget report published by the AVRDC. Annual data before 1990 and for the years 2006 and 2008 were missing. Unrestricted grants bear no external restrictions as to use or purpose and can be used for any purpose, whereas restricted grants are restricted externally for specific operating purposes, or designated as endowment funds. This table shows that Taiwan has become the single biggest donor of the AVRDC.
