Quo vadis aggregation?

Abstract

After some historical comments and sketching the nowadays framework of aggregation theory, we recall several latest developments and new directions in this theory. The overview is concluded by discussing the future developments of aggregation theory, in particular with respect to aggregation on special and general lattices, as well as to aggregation of big data.
