Abstract
A complete convergence theorem for an array of rowwise independent random variables was established by Sung et al. (Citation2005). This result has been generalized and extended by Kruglov et al. (Citation2006) and Chen et al. (Citation2007). In this article, we extend the results of Sung et al. (Citation2005), Kruglov et al. (Citation2006), and Chen et al. (Citation2007) to an array of dependent random variables satisfying Hoffmann-Jørgensen type inequalities.
