Delay-Dependent Finite-Time Stabilization of Uncertain Switched Time-Delay Systems with Norm-Bounded Disturbance

ABSTRACT

This article studies the finite-time stabilization problem for a class of switched time-delay systems with time-varying uncertainties and norm-bounded disturbance. The attention is focused on the cases that uncertainties are in the matrix of the state and in the matrix of the input. First, sufficient conditions for finite-time bounded of unforced switched systems are presented based on multiple Lyapunov-like functions and the average dwell time method. By virtue of the results of finite-time bounded, a state feedback controller is proposed which ensures finite-time stabilization of the closed-loop system. The controller gains are obtained by using the linearization method. The problem of uncertainty in switched systems with time-varying delay is investigated by using the Yakubovich lemma. A numerical example is used to show the effectiveness of the propounded method.

Toosi University of Technology, Tehran, Iran in 2002 and the MS degree in Control Engineering from South Tehran Branch Islamic Azad University, Tehran, Iran in 2005. Mojtaba Barkhordari Yazdi received the BSc degree in Electrical Engineering from the K.N.
