Guiding principles for intercultural respect
Principle	Description
Care	for your place, the loved ones and protégées
Sharing	the opposite of mezquindad, stinginess, or meanness
Awe	concern of being kutipado or the negative impacts from other entities
Protocol compliance	comply with collectively identified ethical protocols
Equity/equality	the opposite of discrimination
Self-determined identity	related to the autonym, language, clothing, and practices
Saying good things	not gossiping or slandering
Consideration	the opposite of imposing
Healthy integral territories	including water, soil, subsoil, forests, and air
Multiple personhood relevance	importance of existence of persons in the process of maintaining balance such as human beings, invisible beings, encantados (e.g. Peyari, Amijari, Korinto, and Jaenete), gods and goddesses (e.g. Nawireri), Dueños/Madres (e.g. Nantatsiri, Nantsitsiri, Nonke, and Maninkarite)
