1 In The Undercommons: Fugitive Planning and Black Study, Fred Moten and Stefano Harney discuss black study as rooted in a Black radical tradition of political, social, and aesthetic analysis and practice. Moten and Harney (Citation2013) argue that black study offers transgressive modes of learning and connecting in the undercommons of the neoliberal university.
